Project activities
 With easy access and quays with facilities Vestbase is an attractive harbour for largers vessels and drillingsrigs.
Quay no. 2 is dedicated for project activity, with special bollard capacity (50-300t) , quay reinforcement, a large concrete sole at the rear and dedicated area for storage, inspections, maintenance etc.
A the supplybase for the oil industry in Mid Norway, Vestbas has had a central part in various development projects.
Vestbase has through participation and active control acquired substantial knowledge and experience within planning and execution of projects related to development project on the shelf in the Norwegian Sea.
Vestbase may participate in a project group with the customer, or perform service based on an “all-inclusive-scope”.
Basis for execution of service is access to human resources, experience, equipment (incl. heavy lift crawler crane), provisions of third part services etc.

Network of suppliers
The broad network of suppliers located at Vestbase and in the region in general, is ready to perform service and material supply for an industry with high focus on HSE and performance. Vestbase has overview over suppliers and may assist for effective purchase process and increasing the efficiency and reducing the idle time in port.
Main customers is operators of drilling rigs, service companies running major maintenance and installation projects outside Mid Norway.
